Out of this world and times. Films, science fiction, fashion, literature’s epic characters and B
series anti heroes, sympathy for the weak… Anything and everything can turn up in one of
Jesidi’s paintings. His work is defined with such feeling and sensibility that twists madness into coherence, it skips protocols and turns out honest, there are no tricks, just truth. The same truth that holds the sincerity behind irony, a brilliant stroke of genius. Aesthetics, lots of it. A special sense of colors, daring with the excess and controlling the black & white.

He can play with techniques as a child plays with a cardboard box. Outer space, bidimensional horizons with a fifth dimension. With his excellent capacity for happiness, he proves that there can be depth and profoundness in art without torture or treason. No anguish, just transcendence and significance without pain.

Humbleness and beauty. A senti-mental challenge. A game for the intellect, the understanding that there is nothing so serious as the sense of humor.
