Karlos Sense

Known in the electronic music scene for his work as Dj, musical director, selector, production / editing, music content manager, programming department and presenter on Ibiza Sonica Radio, Karlos Sense can now boast over of most two decades working in the world of electronic music scene. Subtle and hypnotic in the mixes, his sets are defined as a blend between the underground music and the deepest sound of house music.

His taste in music has taken him to play at the Ibiza ́s leading clubs and at the most famous beach club parties on island as well as a long list of other gigs that have taken him all over Europe, Argentina, Uruguay, México, Perú, UK and Africa.

It was in his birthplace of Madrid where his love for electronic music began, being influenced by artists such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Plastikman, Aphex Twin, The Advent, Underground Resistance, Oscar Mulero, Matthew Herbert aka Doctor Rockit, Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram.

Karlos also worked for the prestigious record shop called “New Records” in Madrid where he started to create his own record collection that now most people would die for!

Like many Dj ́s around the globe, Karlos decided to take things to the next level by making a bold move over to the island of Ibiza where a chance meeting led him to his current job at the award winning and worldwide known Ibiza Sonica Radio.

During his time there, he has been responsible for directing and presenting worldwide famous broadcasts which include the globally known openings and closings of the clubs as important as Space Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Privilege, Ushuaïa and the more recent Hï Ibiza and broadcastings live of important festivals and events around the globe like SONAR, CAPRICES, MDRNT, PARAISO, BPM, …
As a man of radio and a lover of electronic music, he has directed radio stations such as Radio Amnesia, Pioneer Dj Radio and Ibiza Sonica radio where he currently presents and directs different daily radio shows such as LOW BEATS, SUPERSONICOS or NOISEGARDEN (Textures&Sounds) as well as managing the booking of the artists who pass through the studios of Ibiza Sonica Radio.

Because of his hard work, talent and determination, Karlos has rightfully gained his place in Ibiza to play in well known spots, venues and clubs all over the island.

To sum up, Karlos is a passionate DJ and melomaniac who loves vinyls and with technical skill which will not leave anyone that listens to him indifferent.
